Sue & Sandra of Natural Horse Sense would like to thank everybody that has attended and supported their Workshops over the last 8 years. With Changes of circumstance and much consideration Sue and Sandra have made the decision to put Natural Horse Sense to bed. They will still be working hard to bring Intelligent Horsemanship to the foreground of Non Violent Horse Training. They can be contacted via their own websites and will still continue to organise and hold workshops in Ground Handling, Spook Busting, Long Lining, Confidence and Equine Massage as individuals.
Natural Horse Sense took people back to basics with the training
of their horse, working from the idea that if you have a good relationship with
your horse on the ground, you will naturally have an improved ridden
relationship. You were encouraged to look at things from your horses' point of
view, and therefore learn to act in a way that causes your horse to want to
work with you rather than against you. The basic groundwork skills that were taught can be included in all your work with your horse, from leading him in
from the field, to loading him into a trailer, to dressage and jumping.
